Growing together in the Word

Mount Calvary has multiple discipleship studies, encouraging our congregation and those around us to grow as we study God’s Word. In addition to those you can read about in other ministry areas, such as women’s ministry and youth ministry, some of our studies are listed below.

• College-Aged Study—Our students and “college-aged” youth adults meet weekly at Pastor Thomas’s house for fellowship and to study how God’s word speaks to the questions they face. This age group also has a Sunday school class available.

• Leadership Development Group—Pastor Thomas teaches this three year study, meeting weekly through the school year and monthly through the summer.  A variety of topics are covered including biblical books, theology, marriage and parenting, and other topics pertinent to our growth in Christ.  Each summer the group reads a Christian biography together.

• Men's Bible Study—A group of men meet weekly at a local business for the study of God's Word and mutual encouragement, led by one of our deacons.
