PCA POSITION PAPERS

What does the Presbyterian Church in America believe about that?

Have you ever asked this question regarding life issues that effect you personally?

One of the works of Ruling and Teaching Elders throughout the history of the church is to discern and teach a Biblical worldview in regards to all of life's issues.  We believe that the Bible is our authority for faith and practice and therefore is to be the "lenses" through which we view this world.

Through the short history of our beloved Denomination, men have carefully studied the Holy Scriptures in order to communicate Biblical views on issues that arise in our society and in our church.  The goal of such work is to glorify our Father in Heaven by seeking to be consistent with His Word and by pursuing the purity and peace of His Church.  It is important for us all to work hard to know exactly what the Bible says about various issues opposed to simply running wild with our own opinions and speculations.

Your Session encourages you to read through the following Table of Contents of the PCA Position Papers below.

Is there an issue that you have wondered about through the years?

Is there a category listed that is surprising to you in regards to the need for the PCA to study her position on the matter?

We encourage you to go to the PCA position paper link at the bottom of this page in order to download and read the papers of interest.  Simply go to the link and scroll down to the position paper you desire to read.  They are in alphabitical order.  If you do not have internet access, then see a MCPC Staff member in order to get a hard copy of one of the Position Papers.
