Nursery Ministry - Opportunity to keep a promise
“DO YOU AS A CONGREGATION PROMISE TO UNDERTAKE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF ASSISTING THESE PARENTS IN THE NURTURE OF THIS CHILD?” Some form of the above promise is made at every Covenant baptism in our church family. And it is one that the Lord would have us take seriously. And we should note that the promise we make at Covenant Baptisms does not go on to say, “until you have done your time.” In other words, our ministry to the children and families of our church never ends.
