Assistant Pastor David Hart Sanders Sr.

David Hart Sanders Sr. is not his own but in body and soul belong to his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  God has given David a great love for His Word, His church and His people.  He loves gathering with God's people to worship Him in truth and in spirit.  He loves serving Christ at Mount Calvary Presbyterian Church.  David feels called to minister the Gospel to all ages but spends the majority of his time caring for the spiritual needs of the youth and families of MCPC.  David is grateful to the Lord for a wife that loves God more than she loves him.  Linda is a blessing to him and their five children.  She is an asset in his ministry.

Pastor David is the son of Rev. Rhett and Virginia Sanders.  He is the 7th out of their 8 children.  David graduated from Western Carolina University in December of 1994.  Go Catamounts!!!  He married Linda in 1997 and they have 5 children (Makaria, Charis, Hart, Asher, and Raenie).  For the past 18 years He has ministered to Junior High and Senior High Students.  In January of 1996, David Sanders was hired by Westminster PCA in Martinez, Ga to be the Director of Youth and Sports Ministries.  He served there for 16 years.  During the years he attended Reformed Theological Seminary in Charlotte, NC.  He got his Master of Divinity in May of 2007.  David was ordained in The Savannah River Presbytery in March of 2008.  In November of 2011, He was hired by Mount Calvary to the role of assistant pastor of youth and family ministry.  Two of David's brothers are preachers in the PCA. Rhett Jr. is the senior pastor of Blythewood Presbyterian Church and Paul is the senior pastor at Christ Community in Simpsonville, SC.  He enjoys Clemson sports.  Win or lose... He loves his tigers.
